A ringing in the ears is a medical condition caused from damaged nerve endings and cells in the inner ear. These nerve endings are meant to relay electrical impulses to the brain which then interprets these impulses as sounds.

My tinnitus problem started last April after a sinus infection that settled in my left ear and I lost almost all my hearing there since. I even got a behind the ear hearing aid that really doesn’t help.
